A founding partner of the firm, Attorney Morascyzk has represented land owners in regard to a variety of issues relevant to the Appalachian Basin’s developing oil & gas industry. Particularly, Attorney Morascyzk’s practice is focused on representing landowners through the leasing process, having assisted thousands of landowners, both individually and through leasing groups. Attorney Morascyzk also has experience in the oil and gas field concerning pipeline-right-of-way, seismic testing and land use issues. Additionally, Attorney Morascyzk has experience in the field of Bankruptcy law, and in providing Estate Planning and Estate Probate services.

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2004, Attorney Morascyzk spent three years working as an associate attorney at two small firms in the Pittsburgh area. In 2007, Attorney Morascyzk opened his own law office in Washington, PA, during which time he became involved with oil and gas law, as his extended family owned significant acreage in Washington County. In late 2009, Attorney Morascyzk partnered with Attorney Jacob Polochak to form Morascyzk and Polochak, one of the first area law firms to focus its practice on representation of landowners and oil and gas owners in the region. Since that time, Morascyzk and Polochak have assisted landowners in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, Westmoreland and Washington Counties, and has worked as co-counsel with attorneys in New York and Ohio on several large leasing group projects.

Attorney Morascyzk is a 2001 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College and remains active with W&J as an alumni advisor of the Pennsylvania Alpha Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, and as a supporter of the W&J Ice Hockey team. Attorney Morascyzk is married with three children and dedicates most of his time to his work and his family.
